Red Cedar Flute This red cedar flute is hand-carved by flutemaker Jerry Wagner, "Ku Whah Lah Nah." It is made in a traditional Northern Woodlands style, and thus is not tuned to any Western octave; instead it is a true one-of-a-kind hand-crafted instrument. It is approximately 21 inches long, and has a hand-carved hardwood saddle, with a rawhide tie. About the Artist: Jerry Wagner, who carries the SiSiWiss name "Ku Whah Lah Nah," was taught to make flutes by Anishinabe master flutemaker Hollis Littlecreek, and has been making flutes for over fifteen years. He lives on his boat off Bainbridge Island, Washington, and can be contacted through Shaman's Drum.Starting date of eBay auction: August 23 Donated by the artist. |
